As part of their writing unit, fourth graders created realistic fiction narratives. After taking their piece through the writing process, each story was published as a podcast. Students used Soundtrap for Education to record their stories, adding sound effects to enhance the listening experience.

This was their first podcasting experience, and as a whole, we learned a lot! Most importantly, we learned how important it is to read fluently when reading aloud. Oh, and we learned that it's important to record in a quiet space. Unfortunately for us, quiet spaces are hard to find in a school, so know we did our best with what we had!
